Repurpurposing Items

I wanted to give a special person a lamp.  However, I wanted it to be unique and I wanted to be able to be a part of making the lamp.

I found a piece of lovely pottery and then used a light kit and purchased a nice shade.

Voila! A nice, one of a kind lamp for a special person!

I also purchased a trough to be a tabletop piece to hold linens.  I absolutely love it and it was under 20.00!
